KATHMANDU: Meetings of two committees under the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament are scheduled to sit today.
The Finance Committee and the Law, Justice, and Human Rights Committee are convening their respective meetings.
The meeting of the Finance Committee will be held at 9:30 AM in Singha Durbar. The agenda for the meeting is to discuss the Bill to Amend the Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 2002 with relevant stakeholder organizations.
The presidents of the Nepal Bankers’ Association and the Bank and Financial Institutions Association of Nepal (BFIN) have been invited to the meeting.
Similarly, the meeting of the Law, Justice, and Human Rights Committee will take place at 9:00 AM in Singha Durbar.
The committee is prepared to hold discussions with the Ministry of Women, Children, Gender & Sexual Minorities, and Social Security regarding the Report 2026 submitted by the Sub-committee on the Inspection and Observation of the Human Rights Situation of Children in Juvenile Correction Homes.
