KATHMANDU: Actress Jharana Thapa and her daughter Suhana Thapa are set to appear together in a film for the first time, playing lead roles in Ba: Ek Yoddha, the directorial debut of composer Hari Lamsal.
Filming has been underway for the past two weeks, with the cast initially kept undisclosed. The project, produced under the banner of Artistic Entertainment, began shooting on March 23 following a ceremony at the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu.
Hari Lamsal, who has also written the story and screenplay, presents a narrative centered on the role of a father in a Nepali family, portraying him as a “warrior” facing lifelong struggles. The film is produced by Basanta Lamsal, with cinematography by Shiva Ram Shrestha.
