KATHMANDU: Newly elected members of the House of Representatives are scheduled to take the oath of office and secrecy at 2 PM today.

The oath will be administered by senior-most MP Arjun Narasingh KC.

The Federal Parliament Secretariat has requested all members to arrive two hours before the scheduled time, bringing their certificates of election received from the Election Commission, a copy of their Nepali citizenship, and two copies of a recently taken passport-size photograph.

The new MPs have already begun arriving at Singha Durbar for the oath-taking ceremony.
