KATHMANDU: Meeting immediately after its newly elected office bearers and central committee members took their oaths of office on Wednesday, the Rastriya Swatantra Party’s (RSP) Central Committee convened its first formal session following the party’s general convention.
During the meeting, leadership roles for various key party bodies were finalized.
While the committee chose to retain the existing leadership teams for both the Election and Accounts Commissions, it named former High Court judge Lekh Nath Paudel as the new chief of the Party Discipline Commission.
The central body also passed an official vote of thanks acknowledging the security agencies and individuals who supported the successful execution of the party’s milestone convention.
